I am owner of the Clevo 8500V notebook woth VIA Apollo chipset. The problem is
that with the mdk9.2 I cannot switch off of the computer. The power off sequence
finish after message:
Halting system ...
then monitor and hard disks switch off but computer still on.
after pressing of any key monitor switch on
and there is nex message:
Power down.
if I press <ctrl><alt><del> key combination then I receive following message:
devfs_dealloc_unique_number(): number 0 was already free
and computer freezes.
In reboot sequence computer freezes after messages:
Please stand by while rebooting the system ...
Restarting system.
I checked this with PLD distribution and problem not exist,
the problem also not exists with windows.
