[Cooker] mod_ssl 2.6.4 and apache 1.3.12

I installed mod_ssl-2.6.4, and just by including the mod_ssl conf file
into httpd.conf (without switching SSL on on any of the vhosts) I get
"Document contained no data" for any URL, and "[Sat Jun 17 08:00:40
2000] [notice] child pid 24283 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)" for
each browser request.

I had mod_ssl-2.6.3 before and did not had this problem.

Anyone could help?
