The problem is with the package:
kdenetwork-knode-3.1.3-9mdk

There is an error message that reads:

"Error - Unable to connect: Operation now in progress"

I think thats a pretty confusing error message - you're either unable to connect
OR the operation is in progress, but not both at the same time.

The procedure to get this error message to appear is to:

1. In Settings, Configure Knode, Accounts, News; choose Add a server. Provide it
with the name of a pingable server, but one that isnt an actual news server, and
then click OK.
2. In the list of servers that appears down the left hand side of Knode, right
click on the name of the bogus server you just added and choose Subscribe to
Newsgroups. It says you dont have any groups and asks if you want fetch a
current list. Choose yes, and this is when the dodgy error message pops up.

Would it be possible for someone to edit the wording of this error message so it
actually makes sense?

H
