I can't remember which program it was, since this was so long ago, but there was a product which installed under Windows for Workgroups 3.11, and during the install started off with the then-canonical "now would be a good time to fill out your registration card" splash screen, then rapidly degenerated into a deliberately overdone sequence of followups: "I live for registration cards", "Nice people fill out registration cards" and so on. Highly amusing. MANDRAKE ALREADY HAS ADS IN THE INSTALLER, HAS HAD THEM FOR YEARS, the only change is that now they won't necessarily be ads for Mandrake themselves. Big whoop-ti-do.
