------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-14-09 21:36 ------- "If you create a new drawer and add launchers, the new drawer and launchers behaves appropriately. But after reboot, the launchers of the new drawers are similarly frozen as the older drawers." You don't have to reboot. If you create a new drawer and put in a new launcher, the launcher only works for one time and then subsequent attempts to to execute the launcher in the drawer fail. The drawer still opens and you can see its contents. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: - Mandrake 9.2 RC2 - I have a new panel that spans the top part of my screen that holds drawers that contain a variety of launchers, some of them are from the main Gnome footprint menu and some of them are created manually by adding a launcher to the menu. - Normally, you click on the drawer, it opens, you click on the launcher, and it launches. However, after upgrading from 9.2 RC1 to RC2, the launchers fail to launch after you open the drawer. The icons are still there, but Gnome doesn't acknowledge that the launchers are there (ie, the launcher name doesn't appear as you put the mouse over the launcher). Right-clicking on a launcher icon just results in a contextual menu of the drawer instead of the properties of the launcher. It's like a frozen set of launchers. - If you create a new drawer and add launchers, the new drawer and launchers behaves appropriately. But after reboot, the launchers of the new drawers are similarly frozen as the older drawers'. - Interestingly, if you add something like gnome volume control to the drawers, they still respond even though the launchers don't. Placing a launcher directly onto the panel continues to work. It's only the launchers in drawers that are unresponsive. - Amazing how much you learn to depend on these little customizable drawers and launchers... :(
