Is it possible to keep the pseudo-printer PDF 1.4 Converter in the printer list
of the Ooo 1.1 applications, as with Ooo 1.0.3 - regardless of the presence of
the new Ooo PDF Export function?
The PDF Export in Ooo 1.1 is, alas, far from being as good as the
ghostscript-based script used to print to PDF in KDE (I guess ghostscript has
been refined over a number of years, and thus could be expected to be 'state of
the art'). I sent a newsletter PDF generated from Ooo 1.0.3 with PDF 1.4
Converter to the printer's today - I definitely couldn't have used the PDF
export based on the same document opened in Ooo 1.1. So: I upgraded from 1.0.3
to 1.1 in my Cooker installation today, and then downgraded again when I saw
that the nice PDF printing facility was thus gone!
