description:
I'm using 9.2 Beta2 on both my Sony Vaio RX500 at home, and my Dell Laptop at
work (Both dual-boot systems).
When trying to add Security Update sources from the Mandrake Control Center,
or from typing /user/sbin/edit-urpm-media in the 'Run...' command field, I get
to the "configure media" window, with my CD's listed.
I click on Add... to get the "Add a medium" window.
I click the "security updates" radio button and then click "Choose a Mirror".
It asks me if it's OK to download the mirrors - I click "Yes".
It then brings up a window saying "downloading mirrors" (for a brief second)
and then the program just shuts down.
This happens on both of my machines, on different networks.
This is a bit strange, because until Friday 8/15/03, I only had 9.2b2 running
on my work's laptop - Everything was working correctly up to that point (in
fact, the list of updates was void - as expected)
Also, just a FYI - A spurious 's' has appeared in this application's title -
"Software Medias Manager"
