description:
I have an old Artisoft AE-2/AE-3 network card that I've always configured as
NE2000 clone with "ne io=0x320 irq=10"

On Mandrake 9.0, 9.1, 9.2beta1 and 9.2beta2, installation was smooth, I selected
manual config and typed my parameters. I didn't try 9.2RC1, but on 9.2RC2 the
manual network card configuration seems broken. After selecting ne on the card
selector I type my parameters as always and get an "Insmod failed" message. No
matter how I type, I get the same thing.

On looking in Alt-F3 message console I can see a "need CRC32", "need 8319" (or
something starting with 8), "need ne", and then an error that states somthing
like "can't find token for parameter io". And no matter how I type the
parameters, it simply doesnt work.

Hardware is Pentium II/450MHz 128MB RAM, doing NFS setup (and so, if I have no
network card, I have no setup).

Thanks,
 Gonzalo.
