Please do the checks and try to follow the instructions in bug #5641. Your
problem is probably the same as described there.
Before you proceed as shown in bug #5641, please post your
/etc/cups/printers.conf and the output of
service hpoj restart

With bugzilla, I choose scannerdrake and it shows drakxtools without the
scannerdrake module!
Scannerdrake says to use printerdrake for this USB Printer-Scanner. This bug
belongs perhaps to Printerdrake...
Printer works. The scanner is detected, an icon for xsane appears on the
Deskboard. But, xsane said "Pas de p�riph�rique disponible" (No scanner
available).
Another scanner Epson 1240U works fine.
