ERROR: kmix: Mixer cannot be found.
Please check that the soundcard is installed and that
the soundcard driver is loaded.

I start kmix from a terminal and get these messages:

KMix starts fine and I can adjust the settings too. The available mixer list
shows the sound device as well. So why this strange error message ?
