I was a happy user of Mandrake 9.1 using a standard 56K modem to connect to internet. Then I bought ADSL and got a Sagem [EMAIL PROTECTED] 800. I tried draknet autodetection, but it didn't recognize nor install the adsl modem. I then downloaded the eagle driver 1.04, compiled and installed it and it worked fine (I'm using it right now) I then tried to isntall 9.2 rc2, and the installer didn't recognized nor install the ADSL Modem too. The Eagle driver is not so easy to install (because it didn't have the init.d config script for 9.2 rc2 ;-) But I guess I can make it work. As I heard that the installer should recognize the adsl modem, I made this bug. adiusbadsl install ? No. Shouldn't the installer do it ? After installation, the network tool doesn't detect it too, whereas I can see it in hard-drake. It was not detected in Mandrake 9.1 either, but an installation of the eagle driver 1.04 did make it work perfectly under 9.1 Even when manually selected, it doesn't work. The modem isn't even trying to synchronize....
