description:
I had already configured my LAN (eth0) with 192.168.0.1 address (static on
boot), it's OK.
I want to change this adress : from Drakconnect I choose Configure LAN/
Configure Local Network. First I desactive the interface (it's ok : I can see
in drakconnect window "eth0 no ip") and I change the adress to 192.168.0.2,
and "activate now". So I come back to Drakconnect window, the interface is
going up but with the former adress (192.168.0.1 on Drakconnect, confirmed
with "ipconfig") :-(
When I closed the Drakconnect window, the interface get freezed for few
seconds (curious message about package installation ?? configuration update).
At this point if I ckeck the network configuration (ifconfig), my modification
has been taken (eth0 inet adr:192.168.0.2) and when I come back in Drakconnect
it's OK too ...
