Summary: home.desktop - link goes crazy...
Product: KDE

Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Desktop

9.2rc2: Do a right-click on your desktop, chose "sort by name".
Then do a single left-click on the text beyond the house-icon symbolizing your
home directory. The text goes into edit-mode. Next, left-click somewhere onto
the blue desktop background without changing the name of the icon.
Here in german the text beyond the house-symbol says "Persnliches Verzeichnis"
(home directory or personal directory). After the left-click somewhere into the
blue its renamed into "home.desktop". Another left-click onto the text and then
again one click into the blue and its called "Persnliches Verzeichnis" again -
and so on, this can be repeated some times.
After each click into the blue the icon moves around some 20 pixels or so.
Every tenth till twentieth time it seems as if the whole desktop is being
reloaded - reminds me of the crashes of the MS Explorer :)
Any hint?
Another thing where I'm too lazy to open another bug for is that it seems as if
my Konqueror only saves its settings if you remind him some times - the first
time he only remembers which display mode you selected (e.g. text or icon), but
forgets to remember the position of the window divider. This he remembers if you
try to save that setting the second time.
And while trying to safe the settings here in german mode it seems as if
Konqueror sometimes mistakenly displays the original english description for the
first preset...
