Thanks for the fix -- it never had worked for me in 9.1.

Of course, it's still just a color splash and doesn't do more than show
whether/not XFree is working, not that your resolution is correct.

I attached a proposed solution for this to my bug at:
http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5314

It's a small but noticeable step of the installation/configuration process.
I don't know if it's possible to get it in 9.2, but I thought I'd at least
propose this change for the future.
