------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-17-09 16:02 -------
Default encoding is now ISO 8859-1 (if it is not on your system, run gconftool-2
--unset /apps/galeon/Rendering/Language/default_charset as user)
For language problem, you are asking for a new feature. Please, fill a bug on
bugzilla.gnome.org
For french translation, complain to galeon authors, they didn't warn translators
before doing their release.

description:
At installation of Mandrake 9.2 beta 2, galeon does not take into account locale
for preferences.
In menu Edit / Preferences / General (Editer / Prfrences / Gnral in French)
- default encoding (encodage par dfaut) = Arabe (IBM-864) => first of the list
- Language (Langue) = English
I would have expected respectively (I guess) Occidental (ISO-8869-1) and French
as at install I choose my language preference, my keyboard...
It happens with galeon-1.3.7-1mdk (haven't tried 1.3.7-2mdk yet)
