I do not understand your answer. Under which conditions (loaded kernel modules)
you can print? Under which conditions you can scan? Under which conditions you
can do both? Under which conditions you can do nothing?
Under every condition where you can scan, please provide the output of:
lsmod
scanimage -L
and tell whether you can also print under this condition.
Do not forget whenever you load or unload a kernel module to restart HPOJ and
CUPS before you try whether you can print and/or scan:
service hpoj restart
service cups restart
Can you post your current /etc/cups/printers.conf?
If you have more than one print queue fior your device, please tell us also
through which queue you can print or cannot print.

description:
I just added a HP PSC 1210 muti-funtion printer to my system. Every time I run
printerdrake, it adds another instance of that model to the list of printers.
So if I run it three times, I get a list of three HP PSC 1210's connected to my
system.
