No activity has been seen on this bug since 20030204 and it is still in UNCONFIRMED
state. This probably means that the information provided was not clear enough, or
that the bug is not valid anymore. Please test and confirm that this bug is still

Beta 3:
During installation I got a dialog box saying:
insmod'ing module hptraid failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm line 390.
I switched to console F3 and there it was:
runing /usr/bin/insmod_2> /dev/tty5 /tmp/hptraid.o
In console F5 it said:
/tmp/hptraid.o: init_module: No such device
There were also the same warnings about modules imm and pmm in console but not
in GUI. I don't know what imm and ppa are but I do have HPT 372 RAID controller
on my motherboard (Abit KT7A-RAID) so I think that there should be device which
hptraid module is supposed to load for.
