i'm not sure kernel-sources should be in devel group since it's not needed for
developping but only for compilong some third-party binary-only drivers.
i leave this one to appropriate people

description:
After installing 9.1rc1 I tried to install the nvidia drivers;
this failed for 2 reasons, of which the second was not clear to me:
first, you have to do:
'export IGNORE_CC_MISMATCH=true' before typing 'rpmbuild --rebuild NVidia_*'
if not it stops;
second you have to install the kernel source by doing
urpmi kernel-source(s)
Even though I had selected the development group (left bottom in Mandrake selection,
with LSB and dev. packages), the kernel sources were not installed. Also the error
message is not clear at all, and I believe beginners who own an nvidia card would bail
out at that point.
So could you make sure the kernel-sources are installed with the Mandrake selection
for development platform?
