hum No APM support in kernel...
i don't know how to do. In my BIOS, i have no entry about APM (or advanced power
management...) but my presario is very recent.
Here is my uname: 2.4.22-9mdk
and my lilo conf:
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-9mdk

I have installed apmd and apm, and when i lauch amp:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] metal3d]# apm
No APM support in kernel
I think that APM is not compiled on my kernel, and i don't find the kernel
module to add.

I am trying Mandrake 9.2 RC2, using the new kernel from contribs.
I cannot use acpi,
acpid: can't open /proc/acpi/event: No such file or directory
So i have set acpi=on on lilo.conf but that freeze the boot sequence.
