In 9.2RC2 I managed to insert Shell-icon in the toolbar below the screen, but
when I try to launch it, nothing happens. The same function should be
accessible from Konqueror's Tools-drop-down-menu, but there, too, it doesn't
work. It is impossible for me to install Adobe Reader 5.0.8, because it requires
giving commands like "./INSTALL" from Shell-terminal (or command-line). Hope,
this is corrected in KDE 3.1.4. Are you going to include it in your production
release of 9.2?
