You installed jdk1.2 (from sun, right? our jdk1.2 installs in /usr/java AFAIR),
And then you have guavac installed, and you would like to install the jdk1.1.x
You can install it wherever you want, jdks don't need a special location.
But, if you just need a jdk1.1.x *compiler*, the javac that comes with jdk1.2
is just fine, in case add the compilation flag "javac -target 1.1"
