According to mozilla bug 161018, "Select all" should be Alt-A on Unix (see
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/ui/accessibility/mozkeyplan.html )

Recently the Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut stopped working. It used to sellect all of
the text where the cursor was placed. For example in the URL bar or in text
areas like this one where I am entering the bug description. But now instead of
selecting all the text it just moves the cursor to the begining of the line
where cursor is. So it is acting just like the Home keyboard button.
