Hmmm. Believe it or not, in German locale "." is used as a thousands-separator,
whereas "," is the comma separator. Thus English is "1,000,000.12" whereas in
German it would be "1.000.000,12".
Not my invention, this happens to be the default setting for German, Swiss,
Austrian and many other locales. Even my numpad has a ","-key where English
keyboards have the "."-key.
Just go and try changing your locale to any of the ones mentioned above.
So it is not making one user happy but any user that has a fitting locale. And
thats the reason why I'm reopening this bug.

description:
the current wmcalc only allows '.' as comma separators, which is annoying if you
are used to my localized ','.
The next attachment is a trivial patch against wmcalc.c that allows usage of ','
in wmcalc.
I tried to contact the author directly, but mails to the address mentioned in
the README bounce back, so maybe this can be fixed at least for mandrake.
