I installed Mandrake 9.2-rc2 with LILO, and selected the option to run my older Linux
system as well. As configured however, it still takes the kernel image /boot/vmlinuz
off
the Mandrake-9.2-rc2 partition, also for the old installation. Needless to say the
old
system now suffers from hickups that I can resolve but not everybody can.
Resolution: clone older kernel into new MDK /boot and set that up in LILO instead of /
boot/vmlinuz. This should be done in the installer, IMHO.
