Well,

I have identified the problem mentioned some days ago with this dvd-writer of
a friend of mine. if I enable the ide-scsi for this in lilo (hdd=ide-scsi)
this driver and hdc appear 7 times looking dmesg:

hdc: attached ide-scsi driver.
hdd: attached ide-scsi driver.
scsi0 : SCSI host adapter emulation for IDE ATAPI devices

I have read that this happened also with Suse 8.0 to a german person at the
dvd+rwtools mailing-list.

If I dissable the scsi emulation for the drive (hdd), hdc and hdd are well
installed, but of course I can't use the dvd-rw to burn any dvd.

I am looking for the german person to know if he solved the problem, perhaps a
ide-scsi module bug??.

Any ideas will be welcome; yours sincerely

Note: I am using 9.2 rc2 but updated from cooker (even the kernel).
