dmesg > dmesg.txt from the PC when working fine with Mdk 9.0.

This is a dmesg of the working PC. NOte that I have 3 ethercards which are not
all attached - Ignore that. This dmesg dump is simply to show whats in the
machine.

Note this was also in 9.1 (GPL download) but I left the PC as it was working
OK on Mandrake 9.0. Now I want to get to 9.2 so trying to upgrade and
hitting this same problem. I tried 9.1 and same issue but I'll base my notes on
9.2rc2 as thats what I downloaded.

Firstly my PC is working fine on 9.0 so not an obvious hardware problem.

The mobo is an older SiS5596/5597 based system with SiS5513 based IDE controller
as you can see from the dmesg (for the 9.0 boot) or screen grab (from the oops
in the 9.2rc2 instal).

To upgrade I'm rebooting the PC, booting from CDROM, and then choosing default
option or some others like expert.

It loads the files (you see the CDROM flickering and then it boots the kernel
(2.4.22-6mdkBOOT) and then it all looks fine until around the IDE, when it then
oops.

Attached is a screen grab (digital camera sorry so a little blurry) but the
numbers are clear. Also attached is a dmesg printout for the working 9.0 system
so you can see the normal display. See also bug 3254 which looks similar but not
the same.
