I sent you some scripts that deal with channging settings from
dhcp-client some time ago. Something like this should be integrated in
initscripts/drakconnect.
For the dns part: is there an established SRV record for timeservers?
Besides ntp restrict statements do not work with hostnames, but only
with ip addresses.

select directory to export, set ACL ( options, authorized hosts ).

ACLs should be set in the filesystem instead (even MS "best practices" say so).

we need acls for ext3 in the standard kernel. and please do not go the m$ way with permission on shares and permissions on filesystems, it is only confusing.
