mc and drakxtools (libnewt based in fact) doesn't use ncruses, but S-lang.
Yes, S-lang hasn't proper utf-8 support currently

I just recetnly instalated MDK 9.2 RC2
I hoped this bug will fixed.
It is problem with ncuses based programs like mc
or drackconf under console.
The problem manifest when I run unicode_start to switch the console
to unicode
I tryed with diffrent locales i use export LC_ALL=sr_YU.UTF-8 and
I also tryed POSIX us ..
but this is not a problem.
bug manifest that mc dialogs are diplayed with some weird shifting and lot of
black space around mc
Maybe the fonts are to blame but I am not 100% surecent.
Thank you very much I hope there is some solution.
