------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-08-10 00:38 -------
This can under no circumstances be GIMP-Print. GIMP-Print provides:
- Printing dialog for GIMP (ONLY for GIMP, package gimpprint)
- Drivers for Epson, Canon, and other inkjets (package libgimpprint)
If you call the print command of gnumeric, the GNOME printing dialog will be
shown (most probably provided by libgnomeprint), and NOT the GIMP-Print printing
dialog. In addition, if you opt for printing to a file, NO printer driver is
used and even if you print to the printer, the printer driver is NOT called by
gnumeric, but by the printer spooler. The printing facility of gnumeric only
produces PostScript, independent which driver is used for your printer, so
libgimpprint is never used by gnumeric.
I think the problem is in the printing dialog of gnumeric, and so in
libgnomeprint. I am forwarding this bug to libgnomeprint now.

If you select to print to a file and change the name of the output file, it will
print anyways to output.ps.
