------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED]  2003-10-10 16:54 -------
Looks like str2ba is a bluetooth function.

the 0.5.5 version seems to work if compiled from the tar.gz
I think that the problems occurs because there is a version mismatch between
libgnokii & gnokii

Source RPM: gnokii-0.5.4-1mdk.src.rpm
Source RPM: gnokii-0.5.2-1mdk.src.rpm

gnokiid
gnokiid: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgnokii.so.1: undefined symbol: str2ba

the same problem occurs for gnokii, xgnokii

ldd /usr/bin/gnokii gives :
        libgnokii.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgnokii.so.1 (0x40021000)
        libXpm.so.4 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 (0x4006d000)
        libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0x4007d000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/i686/libc.so.6 (0x40161000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40291000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

googling gave no result.
