in order to change the font for the file manager portion of konqueror, you
must open the kde control center and go under components and then file
manager.
KDE, by default, allows you to change this from konquerors 'configure
konqueror' dialog, which is where you would expect to find it, and it's only
under mandrake linux that this has been changed, though i believe it was
unintentional as it's been this way for a while. it would be nice to have this
usability improvement incorporated back into mandrake linux.
