Do you have sound with other xine front-ends (totem, xine-ui)? Do you have sound
with other video or audio formats (MPEG, MP3, Ogg, ...).
Which codec do the quicktime files use for sound? There are some files you
cannot replay without some proprietary Windows codec files.
