Even just using Evolution in an NFS environment (and NIS) is painful. One of the most frequent problems is that users can't read their mailboxes or that they just can't print from evolution. Both are sometimes (but not always) solved by manually removing the lock files from their (NFS-mounted) home directories. Lately I've begun to encourage users to switch to e.g. mozilla-messenger, but quite a few users are reluctant to change yet again and they already have their contacts in evolution (and their calendar). Kmail is too geeky for average office use, so that is not an option. Cheers Simon
