Hi all,
I have a strange problem with the Mandrake Powerpack ISO.
When I boot on the first disk, all is OK until the the following error :
"Loading program into memory..."
"Detecting USB Devices"
then
"Could not uncompress second stage ramdisk. ...."
The log (Alt-F3) talk about /tmp/image/Mandrake/base/mdkinst_stage2.bz2
It is the first time I get a problem during Mandrake install with this
hardware and I began with the Mandrake 5.3. Mandrake roxor !!!!!! ;-)
Do you know what's going on and how I can solve the problem ?
My hardware :
AMD K6-2 350MHz
96Mo SDRAM 100MHz
HD1 = IBM IDE 20Go 5400 tr/min
HD2 = EAGATE IDE 4.2Go 5400 tr/min
CD-ROM = 36x
Graphic = ATI RAGE IIC 4Mo
Sound = CREATIVE SoundBlaster Vibra16x
Network = Realtek RTL-8139
Mouse = PS/2 2 buttons
Keyboard = KeyTronic 105
