I tried a lot of different options for install @ command line (noapic, acpi=ht, acpi=disable).    Gigabyte motherboard (6VTXE); Celeron  1.4G; IDE CD-Rom; SCSI Raid (DPT controller).    No sure what to try, or where to go next, or what info is needed...    Thanks,    S
