Hi Adrian,

Don't want to hurt you at all, but You are a naughty boy !!! Have you
read "All what your mother didn't tell you about using Cooker
mailing-list" ? ;-)

See http://www.mandrakelinux.com/fr/cookerdevel.php3 :
"....Several bugs are also reported and discussed directly on the Cooker
Mailing-list. Before reporting a bug this way, please search the Cooker
mailing-list archives for this bug. It's generally not a good idea to
report bugs to the Cooker mailing-list directly."

If you want to become a good boy, the first thing you should do before
posting is to check if your problem had not been "bugzilladed" yet
(http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/). Your problem is reported at least 5 or 6
times and a workaround is given.

More generally, when you have a problem, give more details if you can :
version of softwares involved, hardware you have (mobo, cpu,..), options
or configuration info, logs (well significant part of) if you have
some,.. : in your case the kernel (for the webcam), XFree SDL OpenGL
(for your pb nr 4) version is important.

Ok, this said, your 1st pb is probably due to snd-usb-audio module bug
(search webcam http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/) and adding it's name in
/etc/hotplug/blacklist is the workaround. You also should test the last
kernels (kernel-2.4.22.17mdk-1-1mdk) : recent changelog deals with that.

Rgds
