It might be because some latency fixes were removed from the final kernel. I think they will be back in the update. If you want to have low latency/good interactivity, try the multimedia kernel which is in the contribs dir on the mirrors (best is the use the one (10.2mm-mdk)from the cooker mirrors, as it contains some bug fixes). d.
