>From my observation, it appears that Mandrake split up some big KDE rpms (e.g. 
kdebase and kdenetwork) into smaller chunks. Thus, konsole moved from kdebase 
to kdebase-konsole and kmail moved from kdenetwork to kdenetwork-kmail. While 
I think this is a good idea and will make upgrading individual apps easier, 
they didn't do the upgrade properly. 
 
After I upgraded from 9.1 to 9.2 I had to run rpmdrake (K Menu -> 
Configuration -> Packaging -> Install Software) to get some of these tools 
which I had previously. 
 
Bugs 4254 and 5935 are similar to this, but I don't know if they qualify as 
duplicates.

lauched and most of the program from koffice and other addons were not 
install and these were previously installed on 9.1 (PowerPack version) on an 
Athlon 1 GHz (clone).
