On an install of the 9.2 download edition, I partitioned a hard drive with 4
ReiserFS partitions. When the install got to the boot loader part, it failed
with these messages:
"Installation of boot loader failed: part_nowrite : read::Input/output error"
and, after trying again,
"An error occurred lilo failed: part_nowrite: read ::Input/output error"
The installer could not continue. I rebooted and tried choosing upgrade, but it
was still unable to run lilo. I powered on/off, repartitioned (in the same way),
did a full re-install, and that time it worked.
