------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-21-10 13:28 ------- We have the same problem here since upgrade to MDK 9.2 The problem is that now we have a default TMP dir = $HOME/tmp in the default environment. I can confirm that putting passenv = PATH in /etc/xinetd.d/cvs solves the problem. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: In short: -------- I think that the following line: passenv = PATH should be added in "/etc/xinetd.d/cvs", in section "service cvspserver". Please see the attached URL: http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/info-cvs/2002-01/msg01114.html Details: -------- I run a cvs server. I usually work with it with no problems. However, today I started to have problems. When trying to do "cvs update", I would see the following stdout: can't create temporary directory /root/tmp/cvs-serv# (where # is a PID). I fixed it by adding the line I show above. Today I did my daily update to cooker, I am not sure why the problem started though. Cheers, -- Leo after my latest upgrade, I couldn't check things out from CVS
