I did not have time to do much testing yesterday night. On my office MDK9.2 box, updated as well, I do not have that problem (using gnome). (But I do not use gnucash on it, it is just in the menu to show the application to friends). One maybe has to open a report to trigger this? My gnucash opens some reports upon start. After downgrading to previous (9.2) GConf stuff and relogin, gnucash works again.
