Netscape 6 was based on an earlier version of Mozilla.

IMO you're better off grabbing the latest 'M' build ar nightly build from
www.mozilla.org

The nightly builds can be a little unstable, but you get the latest code.

Just select a directory, say /opt/Mozilla, unzip the .tar.gz file in that
directory, go to /opt/Mozilla/package and type ./mozilla & <RETURN>

Bear in mind though that Mozilla on Linux currentley has no plugins and no java
support. I sometimes wonder if it ever will, after all Mozilla says to plugin
developers "we want brand new plugins for a minority browser on a minority
platform" devlopers say "nice idea, nice architecture, but no !". Mozilla says
"but what about all the devices that are going to use the Gecko engine",
developers say "nice try, but we don't buy it"
