------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-11-03 14:59 ------- Created an attachment (id=951) --> (http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/attachment.cgi?id=951&action=view) rpm-4.2-spec-mode-mdkconf.patch This is the rediffed mdk customization patch for the rpm spec mode. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: This also applies to the current rpm version (4.2-21mdk), which isn't in the list. The default spec file created by opening a new file ending in .spec with emacs needs some improvements: 1. it contains the Prefix-tag, which is obsolete most of the time. 2. it tries to match the version number from the spec file name which is also obsolete behaviour, e.g. 'emacs gnome-commander.spec' creates this: %define name gnome %define version commander The mdk rpm howto specifies the specfile to always be %name.spec and nothing else.
