This would make things easier when the user needs to install some third-party software and it is desired that the installer be granted root privileges (and it doesn't know how to ask them by itself). In my case the installers were for Linux games. Something similar needs to be available in GNOME's Nautilus as well. I don't know if there's a better way than a Nautilus script.
