description:
I am running the stock KDE installation as distributed in 9.2 Download. Machine
is Athlon 2000+XP, Asus A7N266VM/AA, 512 megs of RAM. 2 drives, /swap and /home
on the second drive.

The problem is random loss of network connectivity for KDE apps, such as
Konqueror, Kmail, and Kweather. At random times, they stop being able to find
the network. At these times, Mozilla and ping can still find the network.
Problem is resolved by logging out and back in. Everytime that I do a reboot,
this problem occurs. I must logout of KDE and back in to have KDE find the
network. Other times, the network connection, for KDE, stops. Quite
infrequently, I get complete system freezes which necessitate hitting the reset
button on the box. I consider that a Very Bad Thing.

Through no certain set of acts or conditions is the loss of connectivity, once
KDE finds the network, reproducable. At least up until this point. I will
advise if I can identify a cause.
