Which version of XFree86 were you using? 3.3.6 or 4.0?

I'm not sure... I can't recall in the GUI installer, but I know you
could select it in the text installer... does anyone know?
BTW, I'm cc'ing this to the expert mailing list so maybe someone can
help you out with this... I've had no luck getting XFree86 4 to work
at all... it just hangs my system, but the last time I tried it was
on the beta, so I have no idea if it's been fixed or not.
