[root@walluck /root]# rpm -Uvh kernel-2.2.17-0.6mdk.i586.rpm kernel-headers-2.2.17-0.6mdk.i586.rpm kernel ################################################## cat: invalid option -- c Try `cat --help' for more information. cp: 2.2.17-0.6mdk: No such file or directory And I'll say again: If there is a vmlinuz-2.2.17-0.5mdk entry in /etc/lilo.conf it needs to be removed. Otherwise lilo will fail to update, and if you have the default entry pointing to there your system will not boot.
