{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:8: Warning: Ignoring changed section attributes for .modinfo
I get these errors all through compiling 2.4.0-test3-pre5 during
'make modules' it soon enough bombs out with a make error for mod_drivers.
So I go back and compile test2-ac2 which I'm also running(and was running
before upgrading this box to cooker), now ac2 compiles but I still get these
asm errors all through make modules, but it doesn't bomb out. The thing is
I didn't get these errors 'till I upgraded to cooker.
include links are setup fine(asm-i386 and linux).
Compiler packages I have installed.
rpm -qa | grep egcs
egcs-1.1.2-28mdk
egcs-cpp-1.1.2-28mdk
egcs-objc-1.1.2-28mdk
egcs-c++-1.1.2-28mdk
rpm -qa | grep gcc
gcc-c++-2.95.2-7mdk
gcc-colorgcc-2.95.2-7mdk
gcc-cpp-2.95.2-7mdk
gcc-libgcj-2.95.2-7mdk
gcc-2.95.2-7mdk
gcc-chill-2.95.2-7mdk
gcc-objc-2.95.2-7mdk
Am I missing a package here ? Or is the simply something wrong with the compiler
?
