What has happened to gFTP ?!
It is all over the place ! So far I have found :
Resume a stopped download - Select the file and press <--, select Resume and
press Okay: Nothing happens. Select the file again and press <-- : gFTP crashes
!
Select a batch of files to download from a site and press <--. Now select
another batch and press <--. When the first set of downloads completes the
second set never starts. All the elapsed times and counts sit at 0 and the
download just stops.
Select a batch of files to download from a site and press <--. Now select a
batch of downloads from a different site and press <--. Select another batch of
downloads from this new site and press <--. When the first set of downloads
finishes the second batch is thrown away and the third batch of downloads start
!!!
If the dial up connection goes down then the only way to resume downloads is to
close gFTP and restart again from scratch (bit cheeky this one since it has
ALWAYS suffered from this !)
If it ain't broke don't fix it ;-)
