VideoLAN is a project of students from the Ecole Centrale Paris which aims to
broadcast video on the campus, and provide the students with a MPEG2 software
decoder. It will support streams from a satellite, a DVD or an MPEG2
compression card.
TIP : this does not include the encryption decoding (which is highly
subject to problems at present time) ; but not all DVD are encrypted.
